Here at Child of Mine Designs and Photography, I am passionate about what I do. My name is Martine and I am the photographer and graphic designer. I started photography in high school. After I went to college and started a full time job, photography fell to the side for me. Then I had my daughter. Once I had this beautiful reason to take pictures, I remembered how much I loved it. And since then I have steadily been working to improve my technique and skills. I am currently doing discounted shoots to build up a portfolio and to continue to improve my technique. About the same time I had my daughter, I picked up an interest in Photoshop and quickly became addicted to designing images and editing photos. I started learning Photoshop by designing website signatures for Ivillage. And since then I have spent countless hours learning about the program and playing with it's features.
